Glennisha Morgan is an infinite storyteller. She paints pictures with words and images. Her writing has appeared in a myriad of digital and print publications including, The Huffington Post, Ebony, Vibe, Bustle, Autostraddle, Revelist, Elixher, The Michigan Front Page, AOL, Ikons magazine, and Hot New Hip Hop. She covers numerous topics, including business, women in hip-hop, queer issues, race, feminism, and her truth. The Detroit native has interviewed people like Brittney Griner, Angel Haze, Monica, John Leguizamo, Russell Simmons, MC Lyte, Brendon Ayanbadejo, Sandy ‘Pepa’ Denton, Laverne Cox, Missy Elliott, Ava Duvernay, and Janet Mock.
Glennisha founded and published the now-defunct award-winning blog, The Fembassy, which was solely dedicated to women in hip-hop. She was previously a host and producer of the now-defunct "Rise Up Radio" of New York's WBAI 99.5FM. Her commentary has been featured on Trace TV,Vibe.com, Ebony.com, CentricTV.com, and in Juicy magazine. Glennisha’s photography has been featured in The Fader and the International Women Art Exhibit at the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit.
When Glennisha isn’t on deadline, she’s in the kitchen creating salivating meals, somewhere digging for vinyl, or pairing fashionable threads for her online streetwear and accessories boutique, Fresh Dope . The New School graduate currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
